A local freight, lead by a PRR 2-8-0, enters "Mertz" Interlocking at the town of Topton. The loco will cross over to Track 2, the eastbound main (second from the front) and return to Allentown yard. That's a photo of the real Topton hotel just behind the engine. The hotel has a great outdoor dining patio, just the spot for train watching, 50 feet from the present day Norfolk Southern Allentown-Reading main line.
